Why it matters
This is the first official Gulf price for OPPO's strongest camera phone of the year, and it is clearly below the European price for the same storage (€1,800 for the Pro Max). The gift bundle is worth roughly a third of the phone if you were going to buy a watch and earbuds anyway. According to Tbreak, offers in Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain start November 27, so the rest of the Gulf waits three more weeks. The open question: does the UAE unit get the 8,000mAh or the 7,150mAh battery? OPPO hasn't said, and Europe got the smaller one.
My take
AED 6,399 for the Pro Max is reasonable next to AED 8,499 for the iPhone Duo and AED 5,499 for the 18 Pro Max, especially with the gifts. But I wouldn't pre-order before knowing the battery capacity; 850mAh is not a detail, and OPPO could settle it with one tweet. If we get the 8,000mAh version at this price, it is the best Android camera phone you can buy in the Gulf before the end of the year.
