HONOR publishes the global MagicOS 11 list: 60+ devices move to Android 17 between October and March
| Magic | Magic V6 · V5 · V3 · V2 · V2 RSR · Magic8 Pro · Magic8 Lite · Magic7 Pro · RSR · Magic7 · Magic7 Lite · Magic6 Pro · Magic6 RSR · Magic5 Pro · Magic5 · Magic Pad4 · Pad3 |
|---|---|
600 Pro · 600 · 600 Lite · 600 Lite s · 600S · 600e · 600 Elite · 600 Smart / 5G · 400 Pro · 400 · 400 Lite · 200 Pro · 200 · 200 Smart |

Paperlike · Turbo · Play9S · Play9T · Play10A |

A month after unveiling MagicOS 11 on Android 17 in China, HONOR UK posted the official global device list on X (October 15), relayed by GSMArena and Gizmochina. The short version: the stable update lands between October 2026 and March 2027, and HONOR did not say which month each device gets it, which is the announcement’s biggest flaw.
Eligible devices
| Magic | Magic V6 · V5 · V3 · V2 · V2 RSR · Magic8 Pro · Magic8 Lite · Magic7 Pro · RSR · Magic7 · Magic7 Lite · Magic6 Pro · Magic6 RSR · Magic5 Pro · Magic5 · Magic Pad4 · Pad3 |
|---|---|
| Number series | 600 Pro · 600 · 600 Lite · 600 Lite s · 600S · 600e · 600 Elite · 600 Smart / 5G · 400 Pro · 400 · 400 Lite · 200 Pro · 200 · 200 Smart |
| X series | X9d · X9c · X9e Pro · X9e s · X8d · X8c · X8c 5G · X7d · X7c · X7c 5G · X7e Plus 5G · X6b 5G · X5d / Plus · X5c / Plus |
| Tablets and others | Pad 20 Pro · Pad 20 · both Paperlike editions · Turbo · Play9S · Play9T · Play10A |
The likely order (Gizmochina’s estimate, not official): the Magic line first in October and November, then the 400/600 series and tablets, with the X series late this year or early 2027. The open beta has run since September on the Magic7, Magic V5, 600, 400 and X9d.
Why it matters
Most of the list is sold officially in the Gulf: Magic V5, Magic8 Pro, 400 Pro, X9d and X8d are all in UAE and Saudi stores, and Gulf units normally follow the same global schedule. Check Settings → System & updates, and back up before any major upgrade.
My take
A long, generous list, with even the 2023 Magic5 included, which beats many rivals. But "October to March" is not a schedule; it is a six-month window that leaves an X7c owner unsure whether to wait a week or half a year. Samsung publishes a month per device, and HONOR can do the same before the first batch ships.
