First developer betas: Live Rewind and Siri Recap on Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, a redesigned Health app, and new Siri AI languages, none of them Arabic.
Carl Pei says Nothing’s first AI product ships next month: a "tool" with no new screen. Name, price and markets are unannounced.
Android Headlines built a dummy from the CAD files it leaked in August and compared it with the S26 Ultra and iPhone 18 Pro: 163.76×78.25×7.97mm (current: 163.6×78.1×7.9), a two-layer horizontal camera bar with three cameras instead of four, and S26 Ultra cases that will not fit. The same day, SamMobile reported that the S27 Pro and S27 Ultra get an upgraded Privacy Display and a brighter screen, while the S27 and S27+ go without. All of it is unconfirmed until Samsung’s early-2027 announcement.
After a beta that started in August, Xiaomi published the global HyperOS 4 rollout in three waves: early November for the Xiaomi 17, Redmi Note 15 and POCO F8 series, mid-November for the Xiaomi 15, 15T, Redmi Note 17 and POCO F9 Ultra, and December for the Xiaomi 14, 14T, 13, 13T, Redmi Note 14 and POCO F6. The oldest device on the list is the Xiaomi 13T. The update is Android 17-based according to 9to5Google, and Xiaomi says the dates are estimates that vary by region.
The global version of the gaming phone that launched in China last month is here: Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, a notch-free 6.85-inch 185Hz display, an 8,400mAh battery with 80W charging, and liquid cooling with a 25,500 RPM RGB fan. UAE price is AED 3,499 for 12/256, Saudi price SAR 3,699, and charging drops from China’s 120W to 80W. Early Bird vouchers from November 12, open sale November 18.
Google published a Wear OS 7.1 canary emulator (Android 17) with a system-level status bar that draws the clock and the single highest-priority indicator (mic, location, connectivity, battery) over any app, hides on scroll and returns after two seconds. Google is asking developers for feedback and says plainly it will not ship with Wear OS 7.1, so a bigger change is coming later, most likely Wear OS 8.
A week after the OLED iPad mini, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says Apple is preparing new iPad, iPad Air and iPad Pro models for the first half of 2027, with nothing in the second half. The Air gets OLED (but likely stays 60Hz with Touch ID), the base model jumps to A19 and 8GB to run Apple Intelligence with N1 and C1X, and the Pro gets a vapor chamber and M6.
John Ternus’s first earnings call as CEO: September-quarter revenue of $114.5B (+12%), iPhone $57.6B (+17%), Mac +24%, iPad −10%. What matters to users: no date for Duo supply to catch up, "unprecedented" memory prices, and server-side Siri AI features getting usage limits with paid expansion through iCloud+.
The Information (via Engadget and tbreak): Meta developed a humanoid robot prototype called Max with China’s Fourier in roughly three months: about 1.5m tall, 48kg, a display that shows facial expressions, hands for picking up small objects, and an Nvidia Jetson Thor chip. Max 2 started in September with sensors for stairs. No date, no price, no confirmation from Meta.
A tipster on X (via GSMArena and Gulf News) says the 2027 Galaxy Z Fold9 brings back the inner under-display camera Samsung used from Fold3 to Fold6 and dropped on Fold7, alongside major internal changes and roughly the same thickness. The same source talks about 3.9mm unfolded and 7.9mm folded. Single source, unconfirmed.
Users report Apple Intelligence reserving 9 to 16GB after the iOS 27 update, even in countries where it does not work. Apple officially says «up to 8GB» for most devices and «up to 14GB» for iPhone 17 Pro, Air and Duo. Turning the feature off does not free the space; the workaround doing the rounds is switching Siri to an unsupported English such as South African, which GSMArena tested successfully.
A teardown of the Galaxy Fit4 Manager app (SammyGuru via GSMArena and Notebookcheck) reveals Samsung’s next band: a 258×428 display slightly taller than the Fit3, up to 12 tiles, sleep stages, scores and coaching after 7 days, heart-rate and stress alerts, and Black, Silver and Light Green colours. No GPS and no confirmed launch date.
A Korean report (Chosun Biz via GSMArena and SamMobile) says Samsung’s Intelligent Eyewear goes on sale in mid-December instead of November, in South Korea and the US only, with other markets in 2027. No price yet. The glasses have no display: camera, mics and speakers with Gemini and a Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1.
