رأيي
السعر عالي بس ما هو مفاجئ: Duo بالإمارات أغلى من أمريكا بنسبة قريبة من بقية الآيفونات، وما فيه "ضريبة خليجية" غريبة. اللي يوقفني شخصياً ما هو السعر، هو غياب التلفوتو وFace ID بجهاز بـ 8,499 درهم. لو كنت أول مرة تجرّب قابل للطي، 256GB تكفي وخلّ الفرق لـ AppleCare+ — المفصلة أهم شي تأمّنه.

Why it matters
The UAE and Saudi Arabia are among the 70+ first-wave countries, so no month-long wait this time. The gap to the Galaxy Z Fold8, which starts at AED 7,199, is about AED 1,300. Pre-ordering matters because the first batch, especially 256GB, tends to sell out fast.
My take
Expensive but not surprising: the UAE premium over US pricing is in line with other iPhones, no odd Gulf tax. What gives me pause is not the price but the missing telephoto and Face ID on an AED 8,499 phone. If this is your first foldable, 256GB is enough; put the difference into AppleCare+, because the hinge is the part worth insuring.
