حماية تحويل المكالمات أهم سطر بالخبر وأقلها ضجة: سرقة OTP بكود *21* خدعة قديمة والناس تنصاد فيها كل يوم. العيب إن الميزات الكاملة محصورة بـ Pixel وSamsung بالبداية، والباقي "أجهزة مختارة" بدون أسماء. فعّل الوضع أول ما يوصلك، وبرمج أهلك عليه.

Why it matters
“Your parcel is on hold” texts and bank impersonation calls are daily life in the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, and most start with a link from an unknown number or a call-forwarding trick to steal an OTP. Scam Detection in Google Messages already supports Arabic, and the bigger deal for our market is the alert expansion to Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo and Honor, a large share of Gulf Android phones.
My take
Call-forwarding protection is the most important line here and the least hyped: OTP theft via a *21* code is an old trick and people fall for it every day. The flaw is that the full set is limited to Pixel and Samsung at first, the rest left as unnamed “select devices”. Turn it on the moment it arrives, and set it up for your parents.
