Apple’s "Welcome home" event is tomorrow: a HomeView home display, an A19 Apple TV 4K and a new HomePod mini — what to expect

Apple confirmed a Tuesday, October 13 event titled "Welcome home", in New York and online. No time yet; 5 p.m. UAE time is expected. The products below are reports (mostly Bloomberg), not Apple announcements.
What’s expected
| HomeView | A18 home display: countertop (speaker base, four colours) and wall-mount (two colours). Voice-first with touch, Apple apps only, no App Store. Ships ~mid-November |
|---|---|
| Apple TV 4K | A19 chip, same design, new Siri and Apple Intelligence. In stores October 30 |
| HomePod mini | S10 chip replacing the S5. In stores October 30 |
| Not this event | OLED iPad mini (~$799, up from $599) and OLED MacBook Pro: a separate event later this month |
Why it matters
Apple’s first full smart-home event, with the new Siri at its centre. The Gulf question: which devices launch officially in the UAE and Saudi Arabia on day one, and how good Arabic support is on HomeView. Apple hasn’t said yet.
My take
Apple TV and HomePod mini are overdue, safe updates. The real bet is HomeView: priced near Amazon and Google displays, it lands in every iPhone home; at a typical Apple price with no App Store, it stays a premium toy for fans.
